Troy Bushman, DO

About

Dr. Troy Bushman is a board-eligible physiatry specialist practicing at East Falls Sport and Spine, located in Idaho Falls, ID. Dr. Bushman graduated from BYU in Provo, Utah with his degree in biology before continuing into his medical school degree at Midwestern University in Glendale Arizona. He attended the University of Utah for his residency in physical medicine and rehab in Salt Lake City Utah. He then completed an internship at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane Washington followed by a fellowship at Interventional Spine and Sports Medicine located in Phoenix Arizona.

As a young adult, Dr. Bushman became interested in pursuing a career in medicine and wanted to directly interact with people and develop skills that could make their lives better. He loves physiatry because he likes working with patients with the goal to add life to their years. Keeping patients active and helping them get back to the activities that bring them the most fulfillment and joy makes him happy. Dr. Bushman loves meeting different people and hearing their stories. Healthcare allows him to meet many different individuals while helping them achieve a higher quality of life.

Dr. Bushman was born and raised in Payson Utah where he came to appreciate the open space and loved exploring his grandparents’ nearby farms. He has many fond memories of riding his grandpa's horses in the mountains. He still loves the open space and farm fields, so Idaho Falls feels like home to him.

In his free time, Dr. Bushman enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He enjoys exploring the outdoors, being involved in his church group, snowboarding, wakeboarding, mountain biking, and playing sports with his kids.
