Sean Huggins, DO

About

Dr. Sean Huggins is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician practicing at East Falls Internal Medicine located in the Medical Office Building attached to EIRMC.  Dr. Huggins graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and later from Midwestern University with his medical degree. He completed his internship in Bingham County, Idaho, and his residency in Internal Medicine at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. 

Dr. Huggins pursued Internal Medicine given its broad reach upon pathology and treatment, flexibility, and his love of a good challenge. He has spent the entirety of his academic and professional career cultivating the skills necessary not only to hone his craft but also to educate others. He is a strong believer in the patient-physician relationship and the trust engendered in such. He knows the most successful decisions are those that are made together with the most accurate information.

When Dr. Huggins is not working he enjoys spending time with his family, experiencing other cultures, listening to music, and interacting with healthcare providers around the globe. His wife is a former primary education teacher who now enjoys raising their 3 children. He served a 2-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to southern Mexico and still maintains his Spanish.
