About
Dr. Abraham Schlauderaff received his undergraduate training at the University of Utah and his Master's in Healthcare Administration from Colorado State University. He received his medical degree with distinction from the Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed his neurosurgery residency at Penn State University. After this he spent time in Seattle in a minimally invasive and complex spinal deformity fellowship at the Swedish Neuroscience Institute.
He is a highly trained neurosurgeon who is bringing academic-level, tertiary, and comprehensive spine care to East Idaho.
Dr. Schlauderaff believes that optimal patient-centered care requires each patient's situation to be evaluated uniquely and to give patients a variety of options to treat their condition surgically and non-surgically. Exposure to advanced brain and spine surgical techniques allows this to be offered. Time spent at the Swedish Neurologic Institute and the Seattle Science Foundation has allowed Dr. Schlauderaff to be exposed to advanced techniques in the management of degenerative, revision, and deformity spinal conditions. He is proud to offer minimally invasive techniques and to be the first neurosurgeon in East Idaho to be certified in spinal robotics. In addition, Dr. Schlauderaff offers patients comprehensive care of brain tumors, brain trauma, spine trauma, peripheral nerve injuries, and other issues that effect the nervous system.
Dr. Schlauderaff and his family has roots in East Idaho and the Intermountain West and are happy to return home. When he is not working, he enjoys the outdoors as an avid runner, hiker, and camper. He additionally enjoys cooking, spending time with family, and exploring Idaho.
